US Congressmen meet Gotabaya Rajapakse in Colombo

US Congressmen met Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary yesterday October 18, 2011
Secretary Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapksa this evening (Oct 18).
The delegation led by Congressman Hon. Albert Benjamin Chandler, III, is currently on a three day visit to the island under the Sri Lanka- U.S Parliamentary Exchange Programme.
The delegates were given the opportunity to witness the ‘Lies Agreed Upon’ documentary exposing the false propaganda attempts made against Sri Lankan security forces. Subsequently a cordial discussion was held between the delegates and Secretary Defence.
Hon.Jack Heddents Kingston, Hon.Joseph Heath Shuler, Mr.Ira Hayden Alexander Rogers, Mr.Worku Gachou, Ambassdor Jaliya Wickramasuriya, Ms.Sainna Brielle Girgenti, Mr.Anurag Varma, Mr.Vinoda Basnayake, Mr.David Wijewickrama were also present at the occasion.
